The Hastings YMCA pool becomes a floating pumpkin patch for this family celebration. Children and guardians can swim, choose a pumpkin and then paint or decorate it with help from volunteers at the decorating station. Children younger than six must be accompanied in the water by an adult. Registration is handled at the YMCA front desk. The event runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
