Dakota Woodlands marks 45 years of service at Huddle for Hope, a community fundraiser supporting families experiencing homelessness. The October 8 gathering at CLA Connection Center begins with check-in and conversation at 5:30 p.m., followed by food and refreshments at 6 p.m. A 6:30 p.m. program shares stories from families and staff and highlights the shelter’s work, with a gift-card drawing at 7 p.m. The evening ends at 7:30 p.m. Heavy appetizers and refreshments are included, and attendees can meet staff, community supporters and special guests. Admission is free and registration is requested. Friends, family members, colleagues and community supporters are welcome.
