Families with children twelve and younger are invited to an indoor Halloween celebration organized by Hastings Parks and Recreation, Hastings Community Education and the Youth Impact Council. More than thirty activity stations are advertised, along with a DJ, games, giveaways, candy and prizes from local organizations, businesses and school sports teams. Young people must attend with an adult. Admission is a donation of nonperishable food for Hastings Family Service or cash/check for the Youth Impact Council Scholarship. Use the high school’s lower-level parking lot and enter the Commons and Gym area. The party runs from 6 to 8 p.m.
