Follow an illuminated trick-or-treat trail through Nicollet Commons Park at Burnsville's Halloween Fest. Local businesses stationed along the route hand out candy and small giveaways to children and families. A DJ and face painter are planned at the end of the trail. The event is open to all ages, and costumes are strongly encouraged. The Burnsville Savage Lions Club sponsors the celebration, which runs from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, October 30.
